Overview
At Turkish Country School, creativity is celebrated as a core part of holistic development. Our Art & Craft Program nurtures imagination, innovation, and personal expression in students of all ages. Art becomes a language for emotion, culture, and individuality, encouraging students to explore and experiment freely in a supportive environment.
Students engage in drawing, painting, sculpting, origami, pottery, collage making, textile art, and paper crafts, discovering mediums that resonate with their creativity. Lessons cover color theory, pattern design, visual balance, and art history, introducing students to global and local traditions such as Islamic geometric patterns, Turkish Ebru art, and miniature painting.
Projects are designed to build critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Group projects teach teamwork, while independent creations foster confidence and personal expression. Students also showcase their work through Art Exhibitions, Craft Fairs, and Live Art Performances, celebrating achievements and instilling pride.
Our well-equipped art studios provide professional-grade materials, ensuring hands-on experience in a safe, inspiring environment. Through the program, students develop fine motor skills, spatial reasoning, visual literacy, and emotional intelligence, preparing them to think creatively and express ideas effectively in a modern, innovation-driven world.
